Officials of Endowments Department and members of Vemulawada Temple Development Authority presented proposals to develop the ancient Sri Raja Rajeshwara Swamy temple to Peethadipati of Sringeri Sara-da Peetham Swamy Bharati Teertha at Sringeri on Sunday. The suggestions by the Peethadipati will be submitted to the Government. Endowment Commissioner Shivashankar, VTDA vice-chairman M. Purushotham Reddy, Vemulawada temple executive officer D. Rajesham and others visited Sringeri following the directions of Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao.

Endowment Commissioner Shivashankar explained about the proposals for the development of Vemulawada temple shrine as per the ‘vastu’ and other norms. Bharathi Theertha Swamy would make suggestions after studying the proposals, which would be submitted to the government. The Peetadhipathi also appreciated the State government for the development of the temples in the state.
