In order to educate the unemployed youth about various employment opportunities in government and private sector and also
make them employable by providing necessary skills, the district administration had embarked upon an ambitious programme called ‘Varadhi’ (bridge).
The programme would be launched on Wednesday at the Collectorate by conducting an awareness programme for the benefit of youth by Collector Neetu Kumari Prasad and other experts. The Varadhi would be formed as a society headed by a retired
Revenue Divisional Oficer. The Varadhi would collect all the information about the employment opportunities in the government and private sectors and provide necessary training to the unemployed youth. The Varadhi would also identify jobs in the private sector and train the youth ccordingly to secure employment in the district and other parts of the State.
The Varadhi, would act as bridge between the unemployed youth and the industry and agencies which requires manpower. The fully trained youth would be helped to secure employment in private and government sectors. Accordingly, the administration would also establish counselling centres to train and guide the unemployed youth.
