Two sustain burns in blast at Vemulawada temple kitchen

Two contract employees sustained serious burn injuries when the boiler tube exploded in the kitchen of the Sri Raja Rajeshwara Swamy Devasthanam at Vemulawada, in Karimnagar district of Telangana on Tuesday.

Reports reaching Karimnagar said that the outsourcing employees were preparing the ‘pulihora’ prasadam for the devotees when the boiler tube exploded due to heat, causing burn injuries.

The injured employees Kasi (32) and Tirupathi (35) sustained more than 50 per cent burns and were being treated in a private hospital in Vemulawada temple town.
