Tummala to inspect work on bridge

Minister for Roads and Buildings Tummala Nageswara Rao will inspect the works on the second bridge across the Godavari at Bhadrachalam in the district on Thursday.

Mr Rao will arrive in the temple town in a helicopter from Hyderabad on Thursday morning on his maiden visit to the district after being sworn in as a Minister in Telangana cabinet on Tuesday. According to official sources, Mr Rao will offer prayers at the renowned Sri Sitaramachandra Swamy temple in Bhadrachalam on Thursday morning. After inspecting the works on the proposed second bridge across the Godavari, he will leave for Wajedu by helicopter where he will make an on the spot assessment of the ongoing high level bridge works, sources added. He will return to Khammam late in the afternoon.

Mr Rao will hold a review meeting with the higher officials of the district on important issues at the Collectorate here on Friday morning.
