Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao on Sunday night approved nine resolutions to be adopted by the party plenary after three-hour deliberations with members of the resolutions committee headed by Parliamentary Party leader K. Keshava Rao.
The subjects under which the resolutions (for discussions at the plenary) categorised are:
* Agriculture: Investment support scheme for farmers,
* Irrigation: Kaleshwaram and other ongoing projects,
* Welfare: Implementation of 30 schemes for various sections,
* Rural economy: Promotion of fisheries and sheep-rearing as caste-based activity,
* Administrative reforms: Reorganisation of districts, tribal hamlets formed as panchayats and new municipalities and municipal corporations,
* Minorities: Hike in reservations,
* Basic infrastructure: Mission Bhagiratha, investments, IT development and highways development,
* Centre-State relations: TRS role in strengthening federal set up and loopholes in Centrally-sponsored schemes,
* Political resolution: Efforts of Telangana Rashtra Samithi in forging a federal front to usher in qualitative change in politics.
