The traffic police on Wednesday conducted a counselling session for around 80 minors, who were caught by them during a special drive against underage driving, triple riding and other traffic violations in the town.

The parents of the minors also attended the counselling session.

After briefing them on road safety and traffic regulations, the police officials apprised the participants of the consequences of traffic violations particularly the risk of fatal road accidents.

They urged the parents to desist from giving their motorbikes to their minor children and strictly comply with the road safety rules as responsible citizens.
