Thumbay Group, a United Arab Emirate based conglomerate, has started its healthcare services in Hyderabad from Wednesday with Deputy Chief Minister Mahmood Ali and Health Minister C. Laxma Reddy inaugurating the facility.
Mr. Ali expressed the need for high-quality medical services and reaffirmed his confidence that Thumbay Hospital will cater to such services.
“We would like to encourage and support global healthcare players to offer high-quality medical services to the people of Telangana,” the Health Minister said.
Thumbay Hospital has begun with 200 beds at a cost of ₹300 crore and plans to add over 1500 beds in the next five years across India with more facilities at Karnataka and Maharastra with an investment plan of ₹1500 crore.
“Our aim is to bring high end tertiary affordable care medical services within the reach of all,” said Thumbay Moideen, founder-president of Thumbay Group UAE. Medical director Shyam Sunder and COO Balaji, also spoke.
