Telangana varsity announces degree results

Telangana University has announced results of its undergraduate courses with overall pass percentage of 32.76 per cent in the final year degree courses. Girls registered a better pass percentage of 39.13 per cent, while boys recorded a pass percentage of just 26.84 per cent.

Telangana State Council for Higher Education Vice-Chairman Prof. S. Mallesh was the chief guest at the release of the results here on Friday, while Registrar . R. Limbadri and other senior professors were present.

Elaborating on the results, Prof. Limbadri explained that out of 11,660 students appeared for the final year degree examinations, a total of 3,820 students passed out. Out of 6,040 boys, only 1,621 cleared their final year and of 5,620 girls, who appeared for the final year exams, only 2,199 were successful.

The results were posted on the university website www.telanganauniversity.ac.in and the links were given to the examination results. Students can download their marks list from the university website.

Prof. S. Mallesh lauded the efforts of the university in releasing the results early.

Additional Controller of Examinations Patha Nagaraju, Director (Academic audit) Prof. Y. Jaya Prakash Rao, Assistant Controllers of Examinations K.Lavanya, M. Satyanarayana and G. Bal Kishan, Prof. Kanakaiah, Mamatha and K. Raja Ram were present.
