Telangana students register 61.41 pass percentage

Ranga Reddy District continues to hold its sway on the Intermediate examination results 2015 with the district registering a pass percentage of 75, while the Nalgonda District stood last with 50 per cent in the results announced by Deputy Chief Minister Kadiyam Srihari here on Monday.

The overall pass percentage stood at 61.41 compared to 60.14 last year and 59.95 the previous year. The pass percentage of girls stood at 66.86 per cent while boys registered 55.91 per cent in the regular stream.

“There were apprehensions of delay in release of the results. However, officials put in their best efforts and ensured that the results are out in time,” the Deputy Chief Minister said.

The percentage of other districts is as follows: Adilabad (54), Medak (54), Nizamabad (57), Mahabubnagar (52), Karimnagar (56), Khammam (64), Warangal (57) and Hyderabad (64).

The Board of Intermediate Education has announced that the Intermediate Advanced Supplementary Examination, May / June 2015 will be held from May 25 to June 1 between 2.30 p.m. and 5.30 p.m.

The last date for payment of examination fee is May 6 and there is no provision for payment of examination fee with penalty after due date.
