Telangana power crisis averted

The imminent power crisis for Telangana has been averted with timely intervention by the Union Ministry of Power which has stayed APGenco’s decision to withdraw from PPAs pertaining to 10 plants in A.P. The Power Ministry reportedly asked the AP government to continue the PPAs as per the AP Reorganisation Act .
