Karimnagar MP B. Vinod Kumar inaugurated a two-day painting exhibition featuring the works of Telangana artists.

The exhibition is being organised by Spoorthi, a voluntary organisation, at Hotel Srinivasa in Karimnagar on Saturday.

Speaking on the occasion, the MP said that the art of Telangana also played a crucial role in the movement for statehood. He said that they would conduct a State-level art exhibition and seminar in Karimnagar in May.

Karimnagar dairy chairman Ch. Rajeshwara Rao, SRR Government Arts and Science College principal B. Madhusudhana Chary, Spoorthi voluntary organisation chairman K. Jaganmohan Rao, artists Satya Tirunagari, Chaitanya Latha, Syed Hajmatullah, Jetti Venkat Swamy and others were present.
