August 11, 2016 12:00 am | Updated 10:01 am IST - KARIMNAGAR:

The Secondary Grade Teachers Union (SGTU) district unit leaders have found fault with the alleged remarks made by Deputy Chief Minister Kadiam Srihari against the teachers during his visit to Khammam district recently.

Union district president K. Mahipal Reddy in a statement here on Wednesday said that the Deputy CM should withdraw his statements for hurting the sentiments of teaching community. He said that the teachers had worked during the summer season for increasing enrolment of students into the government schools by introducing English medium sections. He demanded the filling up of Deputy DEO and MEO posts.
