Telugu Desam president N Chandrababu Naidu declared on Friday that he would strive relentlessly till TDP was turned into an unstoppable force in Telangana.

He announced that an action plan to strengthen the organisation from village to district-level would be implemented and that he would not rest until the party was brought back to power in Telangana.

Addressing a broad-based meeting of Telangana Telugu Desam party at NTR Bhavan, he lauded TDP cadre in Telangana for ensuring that TDP remained on par with the Congress in spite strong Telangana sentiment in the elections. He said the initiatives taken for development by TDP when in power have enabled Telangana to have surplus budget.

He sought a detailed report within a week on the performance of TDP in the region in the recent elections. Due to certain problems, the party got less number of seats in Telangana.

He said a capable leadership would be developed in Telangana and expressed confidence that the party would ride to power in 2019.

Mr. Naidu said Telangana Chief Minister k. Chandrasekhar Rao was victorious in the elections because of sentiment.

TDP would act as a constructive opposition if Mr. Rao provides a selfless rule and would oppose any anti-people measures.
