The Telugu Desam Party leaders from undivided Warangal district released an open letter to Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao shooting 18 questions and asked him to answer them before making a speech at the public meeting on Thursday.

Former MLA Revuri Prakash Reddy and other senior leaders said that the ruling party was holding a meeting eulogising its achievements, but party failed to deliver on many promises. There were no jobs as promised, no free ‘KG to PG’ education so far, no housing and many more.

Whenever the opposition parties raised the serious issues, they were being belittled and ignored by the ruling party leaders, he said. “The Chief Minister promised double bed room housing to all but in last three years, he did not even deliver 3,000 houses. The much publicised regularization of contract jobs is not done and struck down by courts and there are many more such schemes not properly implemented,” he said. The fee reimbursement to eligible students was not given by the Government. The Open Cast mining was criticised by none other than KCR several times but after assuming power he did not ban it.

The benefit meant for farmers such as free tractors was cornered by the TRS leaders in several districts.

The Chief Minister did not come out with a proper answer on buying of MLAs of other parties.

“We want answers to all these issues and we demand that the KCR answer all these before starting his speech at the public meeting,” Mr. Prakash Reddy said.

The TDP leader also wanted KCR to speak out on his promises made to Warangal people such as underground drainage and textile park among others.

Party leaders Ega Mallesham, Kakke Saraiah and others were present.
