TASK workshop at JITS

IT major Salesforce which had tied up with the Telangana Academy for Skill and Knowledge (TASK) has launched a three-day workshop for the final year students of Jyothismathi Institute of Technology and Sciences (JITS) on the outskirts of Karimnagar town on Monday

Inaugurating the workshop, Salesforce senior trainer Rohit Kapoor said that they were conducting the programme to train students to become employable. “Securing highest marks in the examinations alone is not sufficient to secure employment. The students should have all skills required by the industry to secure employment,” he said.

Pointing out that there is huge skills gap required by the industry, he said that the Salesforce had tied up with the TASK to empower the students with very latest skills required by the industry and help them secure employment.

The students were trained in cloud computing, data management and automatic business, among others in the computer lab. TASK relation manager Ganga Prasad JITS chairman J. Sagar Rao, director K. Venkat Rao, CSE HoD K. Srinivas were present.
