Tablet computers to monitor exam malpractices

To check malpractices during second pre-university (PU) examination, scheduled to begin on March 12, the Primary and Secondary Education Department has decided to install tablet computers in 300 examination centres where complaints of malpractices were high last year.

Minister of State for Primary and Secondary Education Kimmane Ratnakar said that malpractices in examination centres would be monitored though tablet computers.

Gujarat had implemented such a system to check examination malpractices, he said.
