The Satavaha University Vice-Chancellor K Veera Reddy felicitated the founder Vice-Chancellor of Satavahana University Mohd Iqbal Ali, who retired from service in Kakatiya University, at a function in Karimnagar on Tuesday.
The Vice-Chancellor, Registrar Komal Reddy, Arts College Principal S Sujatha, Science College Principal Namratha and others were also present. Md Iqbal Ali was the founder Vice Chancellor of Satavahana University from 2008 to 2011. He retired as professor in Economics in Kakatiya University on August 31.
On this occasion, the Satavahana University faculty recollected the services of Iqbal Ali for the development of the budding university by acquiring 200 acres of land and taking up recruitment of staff etc.
