Jyothismathi Brigade, a group of students of Jyothismathi Institute of Technology and Sciences (JITS) who have been participating in several social service programmes, took out a massive rally against the use of drugs in Karimnagar town on Friday.
As part of the anti-drugs awareness campaign the students carried placards on the ill effects of drugs on the users and their family and society as a whole. Commissioner of Police V. B. Kamalasan Reddy flagged off the rally from the Collectorate and also participated in anti-drug rally along with the students. The rally passed through all important streets of the town and converged at the Circus Grounds.
