Students participate in Olympic run

People belonging to all walks of life and a large number of students took part in the Olympic run conducted by the District Olympic Association here on Wednesday. Mayor Akula Sujatha flagged off the run at Rajarajeswari Chowrasta.

Among those who participated include DOA chairman Gadeela Ramulu and Additional SP R. Pratap Reddy.

The run proceeded through Pedda Bazaar, Gandhi Chowk, Bhagath Singh Chowrasta and Tilak Garden, before reaching the DSA ground where it culminated in a public meeting.

Several children were skating in the run, attracting the attention of people.
