The Khammam Urban Police have registered a case against a B.Tech student of a town-based private engineering college for allegedly posting objectionable comments against Khammam MLA P Ajay Kumar on Facebook.
According to sources, the police booked the techie under relevant sections of the Information Technology Act and the IPC on Sunday evening based on a complaint lodged by Mr Ajay Kumar. A case has been registered against a B.Tech student on charges of posting derogatory remarks against the MLA , said Nagendra Chary, CI, Khammam Urban Police Station.
