Sringeri seer to visit Warangal next month

Sri Vidhushekhara Bharathi, junior pontiff of Sri Sringeri Sharada Peetham, is scheduled to make a three-day visit to the city next month as part of his ongoing Vijaya Yatra in the two Telugu States.

Peetham officials said the junior pontiff would arrive here on May 2 at 5.30 p.m. At 6.30 p.m., he would be accorded a traditional welcome at the local branch of Sringeri Peetham near regional eye hospital. At 8 p.m., he would conduct Sri Sharada Chandramouleeswara puja at Maheswari Gardens on Warangal station road.

On May 3 and 4, he would conduct the puja at Maheswari Gardens at 7.30 a.m. and between 9.30 a.m. and 11.30 a.m., he would address devotees at the Peetham premises.

At 5 p.m., there would be a cultural programme that would be followed by the puja between 8.30 p.m. and 10 p.m.

Khammam next

The junior pontiff would leave for Khammam on May 4 at 3 p.m.
