HYDERABAD: 06/06/2016:- PAIN AND HOPE: Employees of Sirpur Paper Mills limited storm at Telangana Bhavan to met Chief Minister K. Chandrakhar Rao for revival of SPM that was locked down at Kagaznagar, in Hyderabad on Tuesday. A couple of hundred workers of the sick Sirpur Paper Mills at Kagaznagar in Adilabad district on Wednesday staged a dharna in front of TRS office at Banjara Hills demanding reopening of the factory.
MLC M. Srinivas Reddy who met the protestors was informed that they had gone without salaries since the closure of the unit 18 months ago. Some of them even had committed suicide. Mr. Reddy appealed to the gathering to withdraw the stir as he would take up the demand with the Chief Minister.
