It was really dream come true for the residents of Telangana State Social Welfare Residential School for the Girls in Chinna Bonala village of Sircilla mandal as Minister for IT and Municipal Administration K. Taraka Rama Rao had ensured that the residential school was provided with a solar water heater.

During his visit to the residential school in November last year to inaugurate the computer lab provided by the Tata Business Support Services, the girl students had informed the Minister about the non-availability of water heater and that they were forced to bath with cold water even in winter.

The Minister instructed Collector D. Krishna Bhaskar to take measures accordingly. The Collector ensured that the solar water heater was installed on their premises at a cost of ₹ 5.5 lakh to heat about 2,000 litres of water everyday to meet the requirement of the girl students to bath. The students and the faculty members were also full of praise for the Minister for his gesture.
