Six CPI leaders sentenced to six-month RI

Six leaders of the CPI were sentenced to six-month rigorous imprisonment by the first class magistrate in Warangal on Tuesday. Those sentenced are – CPI Andhra Pradesh president T. Ramakrishna, party Warangal district president T. Srinivasa Rao, and Rythu Sangham leaders T. Visweswara Rao, G. Raji Reddy, M. Linga Reddy and V. Narasimha Rao.

They were all accused of damaging public property and disrupting officials from discharging their official duties on April 11, 2002.
