SCR launches ‘Tadaast’ smartphone app

Leveraging information technology, the South Central Railway on Tuesday launched ‘Tadaast’, a smartphone app to disseminate real-time information on arrival/departures and amenities at 25 stations across the zone, apart from releasing an iOS version of ‘HYLITES’ (Hyderabad Live Train Enquiry System) app.

TADAAST expands as Train Arrival Departure And Amenities at Stations to provide live information on train services for the benefit of rail users. SCR’s General Manager P.K. Srivastava launched it here on Tuesday.

Complaint boxes

Also, complaint boxes for exclusive use of women have been set up by South Central Railway for the benefit of women employees on the zone. The first such box was fixed at the main entrance concourse of Rail Nilayam, the Zonal Headquarters of SCR on Tuesday.
