Rs.7.5 lakh worth of ornaments recovered

The police of Sangareddy town have arrested two offenders and recovered Rs.7.5 lakh worth of gold and silver ornaments they looted at three different places in the town. They would be presented in the court on Thursday.

According to DSP Tirupatanna and Circle Inspector Anjaneyulu, offenders – D. Vijayender Goud and Sayyad Nizam – attacked an electricity employee at Chanakyapuri Colony and robbed her off gold ornaments and cell phone.

This has created a sensation in the district forcing police to take immediate steps to create confidence among the residents of the town.

With the information provided by the victims, the police tracked Vijayender Goud, a former employee of a cell phones selling company and arrested him along with his accomplice Sayyad Nizam.

Police said that Vijayender has taken the help of innocent friends on changing the ornaments to gold bars.
