A Cabinet sub-committee of Telangana government on Saturday discussed ring roads for Warangal, Karimnagar, Khammam, Sangareddy, Mahbubnagar and Nalgonda district headquarters.

The sub-committee which met under the chairmanship of Deputy Chief Minister T. Rajaiah at the Secretariat on Saturday asked officials to prepare master plans for every district. They must furnish details of roads sanctioned to Telangana by the Central government in the past.

The meeting decided to handover management of roads to private agencies for five years instead of involving gang men. It wanted officials to study whether a cess could be imposed for repairs to roads. The damages were earlier met by roads and buildings and panchayat raj departments.

The meeting was attended by Ministers Nayini Narasimha Reddy, K.T. Rama Rao, Eataja Rajender, Pocharam Srinivas Reddy, P. Mahender Reddy and Jogu Ramanna.
