Revanth Reddy prevented from speaking

November 27, 2014 11:53 pm | Updated 11:53 pm IST - Hyderabad:

Telugu Desam legislator A.. Revanth Reddy’s attempt to speak in the Telangana Assembly proved futile on Thursday as the treasury benches insisted on his apologising first.

Though the Speaker, S. Madhusudhan Chary, allowed him to speak during zero hour, the TRS members did not allow him to speak. TDP member, Venkata Veeraiah, came to his rescue and asked the Speaker to provide him an opportunity. But as the din continued the speaker announced a 10-minute tea break.

Flings head phones

Mr. Revanth Reddy again tried to speak during the call attention motion on irregularities in the wakf and cooperative housing societies land issue, but was denied permission. An irate Revanth Reddy threw his head phones into the well of the House before rushing there. But just then the Speaker announced lunch break.
