Resort inaugurated at Kadem project

Telangana Tourism Minister A. Chandulal on Wednesday inaugurated the Haritha resort at Kadem project thereby opening the facility for visitors. The resort includes cottages and a restaurant and has been constructed at a cost of Rs. 3.66 crore.

Mr. Chandulal, accompanied by Endowment Minister A. Indrakaran Reddy and Khanapur MLA A. Rekha Naik said Adilabad’s potential for tourism needs to be tapped further by the department. He said the department should extend more facilities to attract visitors..

Ambulance at PHCs

Later, chairing the Governing Body meeting of Utnoor Integrated Tribal Development Agency (ITDA), the Tourism Minister asked the ITDA to provide one ambulance at all primary health centres in the tribal area for the benefit of pregnant women. He asked officials to take precaution to check spread of seasonal diseases.

Talking about drinking water shortage, Mr. Chandulal instructed the officials of Rural Water Supply to transport water wherever necessary. Forest Minister Jogu Ramanna, ITDA Project Officer R.V. Karnan, Adilabad MP G. Nagesh, MLAs Bapu Rao Rathod, G. Vittal Reddy, N. Diwakar Rao, Durgam Chinnaiah, Koneru Konappa, Kova Laxmi and Government Whip Nallala Odelu also attended.
