Rat in sambar at ‘Anganwadi’

A rat was found in sambar supplied by Akshayapatra Foundation at an Anganwadi centre of Muttangi in Medak district on Monday. Meanwhile, the Akshayapatra Foundation in a release said that they prepare food in most hygiene conditions at the mega kitchen and pest control methods are followed without any deviation. Stating that the information about dead rat being found in the food supplied to anganwadi centre came to their notice, the foundation said that they have ordered an inquiry into the incident.
