Minister for Finance and Civil Supplies Etala Rajender has formally launched the Rapid Cop command control centre application by fitting GPS equipment to all the police vehicles including the inspectors for closely monitoring the movement of vehicles and to ensure instant response of police to the incidents. The Minister also handed over the body-worn cameras to the police officials to ensure transparency, accountability and discipline among the cops. Legislators G. Kamalakar and Rasamayi Balakishan, DIG Ravi Verma, Commissioner of Police V.B. Kamalasan Reddy, District Collector Sarfaraz Ahmad, Municipal Commissioner K. Shashanka and others were present.
