Priyanka Vadra and her husband Robert made a quick trip to the city on Saturday, to get their son, Rehan, treated for an eye injury suffered during a game of cricket.

The couple arrived at L.V. Prasad Eye Institute to seek medical opinion for their 16-year-old son, now being treated for about a week. Rehan suffered an injury in his left eye from a cricket ball and was being looked after at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences before his arrival here, sources said.

Doctors at the hospital who attended to the teen suggested treatment that could be availed in New Delhi. Though the injury was said to be serious, sources said no surgery was recommended, indicating the damage was reversible in nature.
