The managements of all private educational institutions from KG to PG, who formed into a Joint Action Committee and raised a voice against the State Government for imposing several restrictions on functioning of these institutions, have decided to conduct ‘Athmagaurava’ sabha at NG College grounds in Nalgonda on December 2 to air their grievances.

Accordingly, Telangana private junior college managements’ association state president V. Narender Reddy, Telangana Recognised Schools Management Association state secretary Y. Shekhar Rao, Telangana Private Degree College Managements Association president Satish, district representative Ravinder Reddy and others released posters of ‘Chalo Nalgonda’ programme here on Thursday.

Speaking on the occasion, they said that they had conducted the first meeting of KG to PG JAC here on October 5 and aired the grievances of private educational institutions, but in vain. So they were forced to conduct another meeting in Nalgonda on December 2, they said and added that they would proceed to Nalgonda on December 2 morning with a convoy of more than 1,000 school and college buses.

Alleging that the State Government was adamant in solving the problems pertaining to the private educational institutions, they said that more than 200 junior colleges had been closed in the State due to non-release of fee reimbursement from the Government and another 400 colleges were on the verge of closure.

They also demanded that the Government provide Arogyasri health insurance cards to all private teaching and non-teaching staff and distribution of free textbooks to the students studying in private schools and payment of pending fee reimbursement at the earliest etc.
