Justice Rajini of Hyderabad High Court granted conditional anticipatory bail to former MLC and senior Congress leader from Adilabad district Prem Sagar Rao. The judge was allowing the petitions filed by Rao. The police alleged that he instigated and financed the Adivasi Lambada fights and registered several cases in many police stations. He alleged that this was political vendetta. The judge took into consideration the fact that the police had reported in trial courts that the investigation is complete and all other accused are out on regular bail. The judge asked the Congress leader to assist the police in investigation and present himself daily before the police.
