Police Palle Nidra yielding results

The Palle Nidra programme launched by Kumram Bheem Asifabad police was yielding results according to Superintendent of Police Sunpreet Singh. He said police officers spending a night in villages within their jurisdiction under the programme was improving police public relations apart from allowing the police officials to know the problems faced by common people.

Addressing police officers during the crime review meeing, the SP said policemen should be courteous with petitioners in police stations. This would also help improve police public relations, he added.

Mr. Sunpreet Singh asked police officers to adopt modern methods while investigating crime. He said they should ensure that the guilty do not go unpunished and also ensure speedy investigation of given cases.
