Police on high alert in Warangal

The police were put on alert mode with the rumours abuzz that some SIMI activists might be moving along Nalgonda and Warangal border here on Sunday.

It may be noted that the after killing of two SIMI activists in an encounter at Janakipuram village of Motkuru mandal in Nalgonda district on Saturday, hunt for three other SIMI activists -- Amjad Khan,

Zakir Hussain Sadiq and Mehboob Guddu – is on in Nalgonda.

The villagers in Kukkudam on Nalgonda-Warangal border reportedly informed the police that they found a unidentified person moving around and when they questioned him, he fled towards Peddamupparam village in Narasimhulupet in Warangal district.
