Police arrest ten persons for gambling

Hanamkonda police arrested ten member gambling team, including ZPTC member of Hasanparthy mandal in the district during late night hours of Sunday.

The police seized Rs.1.50 lakh cash, 10 mobile phones and four vehicles from their possession. The arrested were identified as Kothakonda Subhash Goud, who ZPTC member from Hasanparthy, government primary high school teacher Gajula Ravinder and Land developers bar shop owners M. Kumaraswamy, V. Rajkumar, P. Mohan, K. Venu, V. Ravikiran, K. Krishna, P. Venu and A. Srinivas. They were caught while gambling at Peddammaga area at Mulug crossroads of Warangal in a raid conducted following a tip off, informed Hanamkonda Circle Inspector Kiran.
