Pattadar passbooks after records verification: Dy. CM

Deputy Chief Minister Mohd. Mahmood Ali, who also holds the Revenue portfolio, said that the State government will issue new pattadar passbooks to the farmers after completing the revenue records verification and correcting mistakes, at the earliest.

Mr. Ali said on Wednesday the first phase of correction of revenue records will end by December 31.

In response to an appeal made by Member of Parliament K. Kavitha to appoint Urdu translators for Collectors and Ministers, he said that recruitments would be taken up within 40 days.

Mr. Mohd. Mahamood Ali was reviewing the progress of the revenue records correction here on Wednesday. Agriculture Minister Pocharam Srinivas Reddy, Nizamabad Member of Parliament K. Kavitha, Zilla Parishad Chairman D. Raju, MLA B. Ganesh Gupta, in-charge Collector A. Ravinder Reddy, Mayor Akula Sujatha and other officials participated in the review meeting.
