Our constructions look like slums: Naidu

June 25, 2016 12:00 am | Updated October 18, 2016 02:49 pm IST - Vijayawada:

The Chief Minister said there were no firms in India that match the standards of Singapore firms.

“Our constructions are no better than slums. We are aiming at constructing a world-class capital for which we need expertise in construction. There are no companies that have experience in this area. There may be firms such as L&T, Shapoorji Pallonji. You [media] only write reports that their quality of construction is not up to the mark,” he said, replying to a question whether there were no capable Indian companies.
