Odisha Governor greets KCR

Odisha Governor S. C. Jamir has congratulated K. Chandrasekhar Rao on assumption of office as the first Chief Minister of Telangana State. In a letter addressed to Mr. Rao, the Odisha Governor recalling his association in the formation of Nagaland as a state said he understood the rejoices inherent in the creation of a new state.

Dr. Jamir extended his good wishes to the Chief Minister and the people of the state. He said that unprecedented opportunities await Telangana as it embarks on a new path. Expressing confidence on the Chief Minister the Governor said that under the dynamic leadership and foresight Mr. Rao a prosperous Telangana will be built meeting all the hopes and aspirations of the people and the state.

The Governor said in the letter that the Telangana Chief Minister will take the state to a great height in the days to come. — Special Correspondent
