NTPC’s gesture to govt. hospital

As part of its corporate social responsibility programme, the NTPC-Ramagundam has handed over medical equipment, worth Rs. 25 lakh, for the ICU (intensive care unit) unit of Government Area Hospital in Godavarikhani industrial area on Saturday.

NTPC executive director Prasant Kumar Mohapatra handed over the medical equipment to hospital superintendent Y. Suryasri Rao in the presence of Head of HR M.S. Ramesh and AGM (HR-CSR) Rafiqul Islam and others. The NTPC earlier released the financial grant of Rs. 25 lakh for the procurement of medical equipment for the ICU unit. On this occasion, Mr. Mohapatra reiterated the NTPC’s commitment for providing better health facility for the nearby people.
