NHAI chairman calls on Chandrasekhar Rao

The two were said to have discussed plans for the development of national highways in Telangana.

National Highways Authority of India Chairman Rajinder Pal Singh called on Telangana Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao at the Secretariat on Friday. The two were said to have discussed plans for the development of national highways in Telangana in the background of massive plans of the State Government to repair and expand State highways and rural roads.

After the meeting, Mr. Rao will fly to Kochi by a special aircraft to attend the wedding of Lulu group executive director Ashraf Ali's daughter at Thrissur on Saturday.

He will also visit the forest research station of the Kerala Government near Peechi dam and meet the forest officials of that State.
