Neetu Kumari Prasad is Karimnnagar Collector

Neetu Kumari Prasad, the 2001 batch IAS officer has been appointed as the Collector of Karimnagar district by the Telangana

State government on Monday.

Incidentally, Neetu Kumari is the four women collector of Karimnagar district after Sumita Dawra, GD Aruna and Smita Sabharwal. Neetu Kumari began her career as sub-collector of Badrachalam in Khammam district. She worked as Commissioner of Municipal Corporation of Warangal, Joint secretary of Tourism Department, Joint Collector of Nalgonda district and Collector of East Godavari district. Existing Collector M Veerabrahmaiah has been transferred to GHMC as Special Municipal Commissioner.
