National Award for C V Anand

Cyberabad Police Commissioner C V Anand has been selected by Election Commission of India (ECI) for ‘National Special Award for Best Electoral Practices 2014’. The award is being presented to him for his work in the area of ‘Expenditure Monitoring and Tackling Money Power’ during the General Elections 2014.

The Election Commission selected awardees after a country wide scrutiny of best practices adopted by over 450 district officials. The award carries a cash reward of Rs. 50,000, a plaque and citation. The award will be conferred on Mr. Anand at a function in New Delhi to be held to mark National Voter’s Day on Sunday.
