MP meets budding archers

Rajya Sabha Member Renuka Chowdary has assured students of full support to promote archery in Khammam. In a brief interaction with the budding archers belonging to the Kendriya Vidyalaya at her camp office here on Tuesday, she assured to forward a proposal to the Sports Authority of India for setting up an archery training centre in Khammam. Ms. Renuka spoke to the District Sports Development Officer over phone and asked him to ensure provision of requisite equipment to the budding archers and also appoint a well-trained coach to nurture their archery skills.
