A morale booster for the ongoing fight by land oustees under proposed Mallannasagar project, is announcement of former whip and Congress leader T. Jayaprakash Reddy to commence indefinite fast demanding implementation of Land Acquisition Act – 2013.
Speaking to reporters here on Monday, Mr. Jayaprakash Reddy said that honouring the judgment given by the High Court on G.O. 123, which was against Constitution, the Government should scrap it immediately.
“I will commence my indefinite fast on August 10 in front of the Inspection Bungalow. Requesting the permission for the indefinite fast, a letter is being submitted to the police officials today,” he said.
