After a through search for the two missing gold ornaments of the utsav idols of the presiding deities of Sri Sitaramachandra Swamy shrine in Bhadrachalam proved futile, the temple in-charge Executive Officer T Ramesh Babu filed a complaint with the temple town police on Monday in this regard.

It may be noted that two gold ornaments worth about Rs. 2.13 lakh meant for adorning the utsav idols went missing from the temple complex two days ago.

Alerted by the temple staff, the in-charge Executive Officer conducted an internal inquiry into the incident.

With the two missing gold ornaments remaining untraced, the Executive Officer approached the local police seeking a detailed investigation into the incident by lodging a complaint.
