Mega job mela conducted for tribals

Adilabad District Police and the Integrated Tribal Development Agency, Utnoor, conducted a mega job mela, at Ichoda mandal headquarters, aimed at facilitating tribal and other youth get employment on Saturday.

Superintendent of Police Vishnu S. Warrier inaugurated the event which saw 20 reputed companies conducting recruitment. The SP assured the youth that police will facilitate them in getting employment based on their abilities and skills. He asked the youngsters who sought jobs to improve upon their skills.

Some 1,200 youths from Neredigonda, Boath, Bazarhatnoor, Ichoda, Gudihatnoor and Sirikonda mandal appeared for selection in companies like Dr. Reddy’s Labs, Flipkart, DMart and Eureka Forbes, among others. They were provided lunch by the Police Department during the event.

The selected youngsters will be employed at the respective companies near Hyderabad. Ichoda Inspector of Police and sub inspectors from respective police stations participated.
