Sports should be an integral part of students’ life and the Hyderabad Cricket Association would lend all support to the SR Engineering College in procuring a turf pitch, said HCA apex council advisor Enugala Venkatram Reddy.
He was addressing the participants at the valedictory of 16th SR Champions trophy South India Engineering Collegiate Cricket Tournament here on Tuesday.

The SR Engineering College has been encouraging cricket and it should also focus on building a good cricket academy to encourage the local players from the colleges in Telangana, the HCA apex council advisor said.
College principal V. Mahesh congratulated winners and runners-up of the inter-collegiate tournament and appreciated the students for maintaining good discipline throughout.
The winners of the tournament are SRM University Chennai, runners-up were NIT Warangal team while the 2nd runner up and 3rd runner up were CBIT Hyderabad and SR Engineeering College Warangal teams respectively.
