The students of the geology department, Kakatiya University, secured seven posts out of 11 assistant hydrogeologist posts notified in the fifth zone, in the recently conducted written exam.
The selected candidates would be given posting in Telangana Groundwater Department.
Vice-Chancellor R. Sayanna congratulated the selected candidates and appreciated the faculty of geology for their dedicated services to the student community.
The candidates who got selected are A. Srikanth, Byrri Ravi, Rajkumar, Sujatha, Sangeetha, Anusha, and Ravi.
The head of department of geology R. Mallikarjuna Reddy, and professors K. Niranjan Kumar, K. David, Ch.Vanaja, S. Srinivas Reddy, K.S. Varma and B. Sathish appreciated the efforts put in by the selected students.
